So you’ve got a website. It looks great, and is optimized for the search engines, and for your site visitors. Okay, now what?

Well, the goal of ranking well in the search engines would lead you to believe that SEO (search engine optimization) is all you need, that’s not really the case. SEO is just a small part of the Internet marketing process. And it definitely doesn’t stop at your search engine rankings, either.

Internet marketing is essentially the modern way of conducting an advertising campaign, sort of like you would’ve done 20 years ago, before the internet ever existed. Back then, your resources would’ve been maybe the local phone book, newspapers and trade magazines, and television and radio ads. And while those are all still very viable resources to allot a portion of your advertising budget to, you now also have the internet and all it’s glory; Directories (global, local, and niche specific ones), other web sites, article repositories, blogs and blog communities, forums, email, pay-per-click advertising, affiliate sales, and so much more!

It’s no wonder a person gets overwhelmed just thinking about it!

We’ve spent the last several years researching our job. We still do, in fact. Every day, some new information comes to the surface. And we choose what we work with, only after it’s earned our faith. One could sit in an SEO forum for a day and come up with a hundred different ways to go about marketing their site. However we only work with what we know well, what’s worked for us over time, and what keeps working for us. If it stops working, we find out why, and we always put our focus on our client’s needs before trying any new ideas. And NEVER do we resort to spamming, trickery, or sneak tactics, no matter how “popular” they become.
